Welcome to Poop Swooper. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Service Overview
Poop Swooper provides residential and commercial pet waste removal services in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to: one-time and recurring pet waste cleanup, deodorizing services, commercial property maintenance, and installation/maintenance of dog waste stations.
2. Free Cleanup Disclaimer
A free first cleaning is offered only to new customers subscribing to our recurring weekly or 2x-weekly service plans. This offer is subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion without notice.
3. Payment and Refund Policy
Payments for one-time services are processed immediately upon booking via our website.
New dog waste removal service subscribers can book and make payment via our secured checkout page on our website or via a checkout link sent via our official email communication channel. First monthly payment will be processed within 7 to 14 days after client's booking is confirmed, during which the initial cleaning service will be provided.
If a client cancels during this 7 to 14-day window, their card will not be charged.
After the initial payment, recurring subscription charges are processed automatically every 30 days.
We do not collect cash payments on-site except under rare and temporary circumstances.
We do not offer refunds after service has commenced.
In the event of a valid customer concern, we are committed to finding a fair and reasonable resolution.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Clients may cancel their services at any time by:

To cancel or reschedule an upcoming service appointment, clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
If the request is made within the 24-hour window, the service may still be charged for that week as it has been scheduled and planned.
If a client cancels or requests to reschedule within the allowable notice period but we are unable to accommodate a new date/time that same week, the client may forfeit that week’s service without refund or rescheduling. We are not obligated to reschedule within the same week due to limited route availability and commitments.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services in case of severe weather, staffing shortages, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will do our best to notify clients in advance and offer an alternative solution or service credit where possible.
5. Service Liability and Limitations
Poop Swooper takes every reasonable precaution to provide high-quality, safe, and secure services. However:
We are not liable for any damages, theft, or loss unless directly caused by our negligence.
Clients are responsible for securing valuable items, breakables, and marking off any restricted or sensitive areas with clear signage.
While we take every measure to secure yard gates and provide photo confirmation, we are not liable for any security breach or incident that occurs after our technician has completed the service and left the premises.
6. Waste Disposal Policy
All pet waste collected from a client's property is double-bagged and disposed of in the client’s outdoor garbage bin unless otherwise requested.
If a client prefers the waste to be hauled off-site, they must purchase a one-time “Remove Waste off Property” add-on or a monthly discounted “Add-on – Remove Waste off Property” through our website or a link provided via official email.
7. Pets and Safety
We ask that all pets be secured indoors during service hours to avoid distractions and ensure technician safety.
Our team members will not feed, handle, or interact with pets unless explicitly instructed and approved by the client.
Treats may be provided to clients as gifts but will only be handed to the pet owner for their discretion. We do not feed pets directly.
8. Client Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not pleased with your service for any reason, please contact us immediately. We will assess the concern and, if valid, make every effort to resolve the issue promptly.
9. Environmental Practices
We are committed to eco-friendly waste disposal methods and health-conscious practices to keep your property safe and hygienic.
10. Privacy and Data Collection
We collect basic personal information (e.g., name, address, phone number, email) and payment details during account creation or service checkout.
All payments are processed via secure, encrypted checkout links on our website. We do not store or have access to your full payment details.
Your information is used strictly to provide services, process payments, and communicate with you.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as required by law.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to acts beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, acts of God, labor shortages, equipment failure, or governmental orders.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon posting.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Manitoba courts.
